Wilma P. (Randall) Ballard

Wilma Ballard, age 87, of Mtn. Grove, passed away at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2010. Wilma was born December 27, 1922 in Harlan County, Nebraska to Vernon and Emily (Reynolds) Randall. She was united in marriage to Melvin Ballard on November 5, 1943 at Upton, Missouri. Two sons were born to this union.
Wilma was a retired bookkeeper and prepared income taxes for many years. She enjoyed working in her garden, going to yard sales and auctions, and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one brother: Lewis Randall.
She is survived by two sons: Ronald Ballard and wife Phyllis, of Alton, Missouri and Benney Ballard and wife Fay, of Neosho, Missouri; three grandchildren; fifteen adopted grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; fifteen adopted great-grandchildren; two sisters: Laveda Douglas and her husband, Walter, of Houston, Missouri and Irene Longwell and her husband, Robert, of Greeley, Colorado; and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.

Friday, May 7, 2:00 PM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel.
Visitation:
Friday, May 7, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM before the service.

Hickory Ridge Cemetery, Texas County, MO
