Wilma Jeane Davis was born August 23, 1927, in Douglas County, Missouri, to Raymond Linder and Ruby Elliott Linder and passed away July 17, 2022, at Heart of the Ozarks Health Care Center in Ava, Missouri, at the age of 94 years, 10 months, and 24 days.
On October 16, 1944, Wilma Linder and Raleigh Davis were united in marriage and to this union three children were born, Phyllis Jeane, David Craig, and Larry Dean.
Wilma and Raleigh made their home in the Norwood area and later moved to Mansfield. She was employed at Richards Brothers grocery store and then spent many years babysitting her grandchildren and countless others whom she considered her own.
She enjoyed crocheting, playing dominos and bingo, cooking homemade chicken and noodles, and most of all spending time with her family.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raleigh, her children, Phyllis Cox, David Davis and Larry Davis, grandson, Phillip Craig Davis, sisters, Jewel Linder, Vera Davis, Sharon Lansdown, and Loretta Andrews, brothers, Darrel Linder and Gerald Linder, and son-in-law, Paul Cox.
Wilma is survived by four grandchildren, Tammy Wilbanks (Carl), Kim Hinton (Robert), Gina Swisher (Andy) and Mike Davis (Allison), seven great-grandchildren, Katlyn Willis, Nathan Swisher, Caleb Swisher, Trevor Hinton, Jenna Hinton, Andrew Davis, and Jackson Davis, seven great-great-grandchildren, Finnian, August, Kennedy, Truman, Colton, Conner, and Emmerson, sister, Anita Smith, honorary daughter, Kathleen Barnett, and honorary grandchildren, Amy Breiner, Deidra Busbee, and James Barnett, as well as a host of other family and friends.
