Wilma C. Mabe, daughter of the late Charlie and Golda Lee (Ward) Delcour, was born September 10, 1928 in Hartville, Missouri and departed this life February 8, 2017 at Autumn Oaks Caring Center, Mountain Grove, Missouri, following a long illness. She was 88 years, 4 months, and 29 days of age.
Wilma lived in Missouri all her life and attended the Cold Water School. She was united in marriage to Orville Mabe July 29, 1952 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Orville passed away April 16, 2001.
Wilma enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. She had accepted Jesus as her Savior and was baptized at an early age in the Gasconade River in Hartville, Missouri. She was a long time member of Hopewell Free Will Baptist Church.
Besides her parents and husband, Wilma was preceded in death by two daughters, Sondra Kay and Rhonda Faye, six brothers, Dale, Lavern, Vurbel, Farris, Clarell, and Doyle, and a brother-in-law, Warren Stanley.
Wilma is survived by one son, Michael Laroy and Linda Haden Mabe, one daughter, Shirley Maxine Davis and Larry Coffey, all of Mountain Grove, one step-son, David Johnson of Kansas, one brother, Linden of Rogersville, Missouri, three sisters, Charlene of Springfield, Missouri, Linda of Nixa, Missouri, and June Ann of Rogersville, Missouri, nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly.
Visitation: Monday, February 13, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral Service: Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial: New Home Cemetery (North), Hartville, Mo.
