William 'Bill' Wallace Braun

William “Bill” Wallace Braun, son of the late William Henry and Robertina (Wallace) Braun, was born on October 22, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio and passed away on April 27, 2009 at his residence south of Norwood, Missouri in Douglas County. He was 68 years, 6 months and 5 days of age.
Bill grew up and attended school in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from Woodward High School in 1958. He was united in marriage to Julie Cole on October 15, 1991 in Batavia, Ohio. They made their home in Loveland, Ohio before moving to a Missouri farm in Douglas County following his retirement, where they called home for the past ten years.
Bill was employed as a pipefitter for thirty-five years. He was a member of the Local Pipefitter’s Union 392 in Ohio.
Bill loved his farm and in his spare time he enjoyed watching NASCAR racing. He is survived by his loving wife: Julie Braun of their home; three sons: Steve, Bill and Drew; three daughters: Kathleen, Sara, and Melanie; one sister: Barb; six grandchildren; and other relatives and friends who will miss him very much.
