William "Bill" Page

January 1, 1931 — April 24, 2021

William “Bill” Mac Page, son of the late William McKinley and Sylvia Cook Page and loving father of five children, was born on January 1, 1931, in Vanzant, Missouri, and went peacefully to his heavenly father on April 24, 2021, at the age of 90 years, 3 months and 23 days.

He started his education in a one-room school house and graduated from Mountain Grove High School in 1948. He had the privilege of playing on the state championship football team. Bill was proud of his time in the Army from 1949-1952. While serving those four years, he achieved the rank of Sergeant during the Korean War era and was honorably discharged in 1952.

Bill married Wilma Dee Tyler on December 17, 1955, and they raised a daughter, Paula, and four sons, John, Bill, Rick and Russell.

Bill had a successful career in the Aerospace industry with Boeing and Lear Jet and later spent many years as a Real Estate Broker in Mountain Grove, Missouri. He was proud of his many years of service on the Mountain Grove Industrial Committee and was a Charter Member of the local Alumni Park. His real life passion was keeping in touch with his kids and grandkids and what was happening in their lives. He was known for his quick wit and compassionate spirit. He dearly loved his Mountain Grove High School football team and could always be found at the games and seen in the stands rooting for his Panthers.

Besides his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma, and his siblings, Marie, Richard and Norma. He was the last of all of his many cousins.

He is survived by his five children, John Page and his wife, Keron, Bill Page and his wife, Tracy, Rick Page and his wife, Jan, Paula Marler and her husband, Randall, and Russell Page and his wife, Michelle, sixteen grandkids, thirty-three great-grandkids and one great-great-grandchild and many other extended family and friends who will miss him.
