Wesley Allen Bigelow, son of the late Dean and Lois (Pease) Bigelow, was born August 21, 1945, in Tacoma, Washington, and passed away May 16, 2022, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri. He was 76 years, 8 months, and 26 days of age.
Wesley grew up in West Seattle, Washington, and graduated from Seattle High School. After graduating he moved to Springfield, Missouri, where he attended Baptist Bible College. He worked for General Electric in Springfield as a machinist and later transferred to Seattle, Washington. He later became a design engineer for another company designing and building front end loaders for tractors before he retired.
He married Linda on July 4, 1987, in Seattle, Washington, and they have enjoyed 35 years together. After Wesley retired, they moved to Missouri and were residing in Ozark, Missouri, at the time of his passing.
Wesley was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time on the golf course with his buddies. He also liked woodworking and building things. He loved the time he spent with his grandson, Nick and his wife Rachel, and their two children, Mason and Bennett, building a chicken coup.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Wesley is survived by his wife, Linda, three daughters, April Virden and her husband, Richard, Tammy Bigelow, and Shannon Morris, one grandson, Nick Virden and his wife, Rachel, and their children Mason, and Bennett Virden, one granddaughter, Kaitlyn and her son Daniel, two brothers, one sister, one brother-in-law, Leland Frazier and his wife, Earline, and other relatives and friends who will miss him very much.
