Waneta Ellen Dickson

Waneta Ellen Dickson, daughter of Lonnie LeMasters and Leona (Ray) LeMasters, was born December 9, 1939, in McDonald County, Missouri, and departed this life September 6, 2023, at her home in Urbana, Missouri, at the age of 83 years, 8 months, and 27 days.

On February 4, 1962, she was united in marriage to Roy Dickson and to this union two daughters were born.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters.

Waneta is survived by her husband, Roy; daughters, Anita Beck and husband, Jim, of Spokane, Missouri, and Laura Jones and husband, Michael, of Lebanon, Missouri; five grandchildren, Ryan, Brittany, Brandon, Grant, and Madison; three great-grandchildren, Paxton, Alyson, and Lainey; sisters, Shirley Kaufman and Carolyn Houpt; other relatives and friends.

Waneta was born in McDonald County and graduated from Anderson High School in the Class of 1956.

She loved God and was a woman of prayer and bible reading. Church was important to her and she was a member of the Ozark Mountain United Pentecostal Church, where she loved being a hostess. She also enjoyed getting together with friends at Golden Corral.

Waneta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, who loved her family. She was loved, and she will be remembered and missed very much.
