Von Potts

Von Potts was born on January 4, 1938, to Merwin and Ina Potts in Hillsboro, Wisconsin, and peacefully passed away on November 17, 2021, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri, at 83 years of age.

Von was a hard worker and prior to retirement he worked for John Deere in Wisconsin for over 20 years. He eventually ended up in Wright County, Missouri where he enjoyed cattle farming.

Von loved Oliver tractors, every time you saw him, he’d be wearing a different Oliver tractor shirt. He played the saxophone, winning many awards he proudly displayed; he was even quite the roller-skater in his younger days. Von was always full of joy, loved researching on the internet and was known throughout the community.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Von is survived by his friends and caring neighbors.
