Virginia Lee Stepp, daughter of the late Lee Willard and Pauline (Mings) Coble, was born on June 27, 1942 and departed this life on January 15, 2017 at her home in Wynne, Arkansas. She was 74 years, 6 months, and 19 days of age.
Virginia was born in Upton, Missouri and she grew up and attended school in the Fairview, Missouri area. She was a lifelong learner and deeply valued education. She earned her Masters degree from Drury University and her Specialist Degree from Southwest Missouri State University. She had numerous teaching certificates in different areas of curriculum. She loved to teach and loved working with kids.
Virginia also loved attending her granddaughters school events and sporting events. She loved to read, especially her Bible, and she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She would also spend many hours doing schoolwork. Virginia loved and valued family time and she always enjoyed watching the Andy Griffith Show.
Besides her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband: Joe Stepp, and one sister: Marjorie Sullens.
She is survived by her son: David Stepp, and his wife, ReNae, of Wynne, Arkansas; two granddaughters: Jessica Stepp-Wyatt, and her husband Jeff Wyatt of Lubbock, Texas, and Jodi Stepp of Wynne, Arkansas; one brother: Kenneth James Coble of Lynchburg, Missouri; two sisters: Betty Baney of Huggins, Missouri, and Barbara Hurley of Mountain Grove, Missouri; and other friends and family who will miss her.
Visitation: Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral Service: Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial: Bado Cemetery
