Virginia Bennett

Virginia Anne Bennett, daughter of the late Roscoe and Maude (Main) Britt, was born July 22, 1948 in Willow Springs, Missouri. She passed from this life on July 21, 2024 at her home in Mountain Grove, Missouri. She was one day short of her 76th birthday.

Virginia grew up and attended school in Willow Springs. She then went to college and obtained her teaching degree at what was then known as SMSU in Springfield, Missouri. Following college, Virginia began a teaching career that spanned 30 years and several different school districts before retiring at Skyline R-II. 

In her spare time, Virginia enjoyed taking road trips across the states and especially enjoyed visiting her sisters along the way. Virginia had a love for the Lord and was saved at a young age. She remained faithful to the end and is now worshipping at the feet of Jesus.

Besides her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by two sons, Phillip Britt and Steven Qualls; and three sisters, Lois, Mary Ruth, and June.

Virginia is survived by her son, Timothy Fultz and wife, Mistina, of Auburn, Georgia; her daughter, Leanne Jarrett of Pocahontas, Arkansas; one sister, Margaret Stimson; over twenty grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

No services are planned at this time. Arrangements for cremation are under the direction of the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Mountain Grove.
