Virgie Nadine Corkill

Virgie N. (Hendrickson) Corkill, daughter of the late Leslie and Anna (Killian) Hendrickson, was born April 12, 1929, in Randles, Missouri, and departed this life March 4, 2018, in Autumn Oaks Caring Center in Mountain Grove, Missouri. She was 88 years, 10 months, and 20 days of age.

Virgie grew up and graduated from high school in Randles, Missouri. She married Lyle “Corky” Corkill in Piper City, Illinois, on September 21, 1952.

Virgie worked at Polly’s Café and at Fordick Corporation in Mountain Grove. In her spare time, she liked to read and fish.

Besides her parents, Virgie was preceded in death by her brother, Gene Hendrickson, and three sisters, Virginia King, Freida Woodard, and Pearline Merrill.

She is survived by her husband of their home Lyle “Corky” Corkill, one son, Michael, one sister, Shirley Beckman and her husband, Warren, nieces and nephews, Julie, Shelly, Randy, and several other nieces and nephews, her brother-in-law, Wayne Woodard, and other relatives and friends.
