Viola Louise Savo

Viola Louise Savo, daughter of the late Frank Garray and Ella Garray-Friborg, was born on December 13, 1930 and passed away on April 19, 2015 at her home in Mountain Grove, Missouri, at 84 years of age.
Viola grew up and attended school in Trumbull, Connecticut. She met Dante Savo through mutual friends. They were married on November 13, 1948 in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Viola moved to Mountain Grove in 2010. She enjoyed knitting, embroidery work, sewing, cooking, and canning. She also loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Viola was preceded in death by her husband, Dante, and her sister, Eleanor Buydos.
She is survived by two daughters: Joan Stevens of Mountain Grove, and Gale Socci of West Palm Beach, Florida; one brother: William Garray of Zephyrhills, Florida; four grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
