Viola Crisp

Viola Marie (Roberts) Crisp, daughter of the late Edwin and Leona (Nettleton) Roberts, was born August 30, 1951, in Elk Creek, Missouri, and passed away February 3, 2023, at Lebanon South Nursing and Rehab in Lebanon, Missouri. She was 71 years, 5 months, and 4 days of age.

Viola grew up in Elk Creek and attended Cabool Schools. She worked at Hutchens Steel in Mansfield, Missouri, as a welder for several years.

Viola was a devout Christian and was strong in her faith. She loved sharing her faith in the Lord to others. Her ministry was helping people and she would give them the shirt off her back if they were in need. Viola attended Calvary Temple church in Mountain Grove as long as her health permitted.

She loved ceramics, painting, sewing, and collecting stuffed animals.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Randy Roberts.

Viola is survived by one son, Kirby Crisp and wife, Anne Molina, of Golden City, Missouri, one daughter, Sheila Carty and husband, Scott, of Norwood, Missouri, two grandchildren, Bethany Galler and Cody Kenaga and wife, Sierra, three great-grandchildren, Harper, Sage, and Nova, and other relatives and friends who will miss her very much.
