Veta Jane (Ragain) Clark went to her heavenly reward on January 19, 2021. Veta was born on August 31, 1927, in Huggins, Missouri, to Luther and Bertha (Tate) Ragain. Veta was the oldest of seven siblings. She was 93 years young.
Veta was happily married to Amiel Clark for many, many years and out their union they had one son, Kirby Clark. As a family, they spent their lives together in Mountain Grove, Missouri. Veta walked to work at Brown Shoe Company for over twenty years. She also worked at the Mountain Grove Senior Center for several years.
Veta was a kind, gentle-hearted person who never had a bad word to say about anyone. Her legacy is one of a true belief in Jesus and His Word, hard work, kindness, a smile for everyone, and gentleness like no other. She was a true friend.
Veta was preceded in death by her husband of over sixty years, Amiel Clark, her parents, Luther and Bertha Ragain, and two siblings, Verna Turner and Milburn Ragain.
Veta is survived by her son, Kirby Clark of Mountain Grove, her siblings, Vera Spencer of Wichita, Kansas, Mervin Ragain and his wife, Elaine, of Wichita, Kansas, Venetta Koontz of Mountain Grove, and Marlin Ragain and his wife, Dora, of Gladstone, Missouri, and many nieces and nephews. She will be sorely missed.
