Tyler Eugene Mills, son of the late Ronnie and Mary Lenora (Farmer) Mills, was born September 7, 1963, in Aurora, Missouri, and departed this life June 24, 2020, at his home in Mountain Grove, Missouri. He was 56 years, 9 months, and 17 days of age.
Tyler grew up in Blue Eye, Missouri. He learned to love fishing, growing up fishing on Kings River, and he also grew up with a love for playing baseball. He moved to Mountain Grove, Missouri, with his family, at the age of 15. He graduated from Mountain Grove High School with the class of 1981, and played baseball as a Panther for three years.
Tyler married Tabby Stillwell in 1985, and one daughter was born to this union, Courtney Lynn. He married Lori Felker in March of 1991, and two sons were born to this union, Dustin Eugene and Cody Kenneth. Tyler and Lori had been married for 29 years.
Tyler loved to fish and hunt, and was an avid sportsman for years. He loved playing softball and coaching his boys in baseball. He also enjoyed collecting sports cards, and watching football and the ID (Investigation Discovery) Channel. He was a great singer, and he used to sing at Caudle Church. He loved his family with all of his heart, and his grandson, Pierce, was his favorite little boy in the whole world. Tyler had a wonderful sense of humor, and he kept his wife laughing and loved.
Tyler was preceded in death by his parents, Ronnie and Lenora Mills, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chuck and Debbie Felker, his grandparents, Gene and Lila Wilks, and Roy and Vergie Plummer Mills, and one sister, Penny Mills Gunter and her husband Jesse.
He is survived by his wife, Lori Felker Mills, of their home in Mountain Grove, Missouri, his daughter, Courtney Mills Emery and her husband, David, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, two sons, Dustin Mills of Mansfield, Missouri, and Cody Mills of Mountain Grove, Missouri, his grandson, Pierce Mills, one sister, Karen Mills Riley and her husband, David, of Lebanon, Missouri, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him.
