Tommie Ralph Ince, son of the late Clarence and Frona (Cook) Ince, was born May 16, 1932, at Fordland, Missouri, and departed this life December 15, 2023, at his home near Fordland, Missouri. He was 91 years, 6 months, and 30 days of age.
Tom grew up and attended school at a one-room schoolhouse north of Fordland, Missouri. After school, he worked in construction for a few years at Western Fireproofing in Kansas City. He was drafted into the United States Army and served his country in the Korean War from 1952 to 1954. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Wanda Moxley, in March 16, 1964, in Miami, Oklahoma.
Tom ran beef cattle and enjoyed farming their farm south of Fordland for most of his life. He and Wanda enjoyed their farming life together throughout the years. They also liked traveling and camping together with their friends for many years. Tom enjoyed many years of deer hunting and spending time on the lake fishing with his family. Later in life, he focused on his pets, and he loved his dogs, cats, and mules. He also really enjoyed riding his side-by-side all over the countryside.
Besides his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Wanda Louise Ince, six sisters, Verna Lee Ince, Ovelah Beatrice Ince, Emogene Ilene Lawson, Jessie Marie Woodruff, Claralynn Naomi Hensley, and Alice Louise Rush, and three brothers, Homer Clarence Ince, Billy Joe Ince, and Jerry Edward Ince.
He is survived by two sisters-in-law, Mildred Ince and Martha Ince, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will miss him.
