Tim Allen

Timothy Dewayne Allen, son of Rex and Bonnie (Bond) Allen, was born March 22, 1967, in Springfield, Missouri, and departed this life November 4, 2023, at his home near Norwood, Missouri. He was 56 years, 7 months, and 13 days of age.

Tim grew up in Cold Springs and went to Skyline Elementary School and then graduated with the Norwood High School class of 1985. He was united in marriage to Lori Johnson on June 19, 1987, in Norwood. One son was born to this union.

Tim was saved at a young age and later rededicated his life to the Lord. He enjoyed collecting comic books, watching movies, and listening to 80s rock and old country music. His biggest joy in life was his four grandchildren. He made it a point to see them every weekend that he could. He loved giving them rides on his four-wheeler and letting them ride sitting in the back of the bed of his pickup truck. He loved spoiling them with popsicles and root beer floats.

Tim was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Allen.

Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Lori Allen; one son, Timothy “Shane” Allen and wife, Mandy, of Rogersville, Missouri; parents, Rex and Bonnie Allen of Norwood, Missouri; one brother, Rocky Eugene Allen and wife, Linda, of Mansfield, Missouri; one sister, Melissa Dawn Koch and husband, Steven, of Bucyrus, Missouri; four grandchildren, Trinity, Lindsay, Dresden, and Jasper Allen; and many other relatives and friends who will miss him greatly.
