Thomas “TJ” Jerome Schramm was an amazing man. He was born March 10, 1954, in Stockton, California, to Arthur and Hilda (Nies) Schramm. He passed away April 26, 2022, at Ozarks Health Care in West Plains, Missouri, at 68 years of age. He is survived by his best friend and loving wife, Hazel “Tiny” Schramm, a daughter Pamela Schramm of Stockton, California, two sons, Jesse Riddle of Mountain Grove, Missouri, and James Riddle of Stockton, California, two brothers, Donald Schramm and his wife, Jan, of Garden Valley Idaho, and Dennis Schramm and his wife, Ann, of Fresno, California, many grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. TJ was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Deia Bustamante.
He was a young man when he joined the United States Army and he served his country during the Vietnam War. He went to college to become an engineer and found his way to the railroad. TJ worked for Union Pacific Railroad in California and retired after twenty-eight years. He had traveled around the country and parts of the world and found himself a better man. He found love and married Hazel Riddle on November 20, 1999, in Stockton, California, and soon retired and made his way to Mountain Grove, Missouri.
TJ loved to cook, build, and ride motorcycles and drag race in his younger years. He never stopped listening to music like a teenager. If you ever had the opportunity to talk with him, you were left with wisdom and found a new friend because he was that type of a man.
