Thomas Suckey Jr

Thomas Joseph Suckey Jr., son of Sharon Bloom and the late Thomas J. Suckey Sr., was born April 22, 1983 in Silvis, Illinois, and passed away suddenly on October 25, 2012 in Mountain Grove, Missouri, at 29 years of age.

TJ grew up in the Quad City area of Iowa and Illinois and moved to Missouri in his early twenties. TJ was quite a jokester. He enjoyed being outdoors, listening to rock music, and was interested in old cars. He also had a passion for art and enjoyed drawing. TJ loved his family and will be greatly missed.

TJ was preceded in death by his father and his maternal grandfather: Richard O. Bloom.

He is survived by his mother: Sharon Bloom of Mountain Grove; one brother: Shane Suckey of Davenport, Iowa; three sisters: Krystina Bloom of Mountain Grove, Alexis Neuroth and her husband, Chance, of Norwood, Missouri, and Dawn McIntosh and her husband, Paul, of East Moline, Illinois; his maternal grandmother: April Bloom of Cabool, Missouri; nine nieces and nephews: Elijah Bloom, Arieanna Bloom, Sophie Metty, Race McIntosh, Christopher Suckey, Tyler Suckey, Timothy Suckey, Shannon Suckey, and Zane Suckey; and a host of other relatives and friends.


Memorial Service: Monday, October 29, 2012 at the Chance and Alexis Neuroth residence (6040 Johnston Road, Norwood).
