Terry Lee Kennedy

Terry Lee Kennedy, son of the late John Joseph and Evelyn (O’Brien) Kennedy, was born June 19, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois, and departed this life April 27, 2017 at his home in Macomb, Missouri. He was 66 years, 10 months, and 8 days of age.

Terry grew up in Chicago. He joined the military and served in both the Navy and Marines.

Terry married Karol Henderson October 16, 1971. He and Karol had four children. Terry married Phyllis Marie Peck on December 22, 1995.

Terry was an active member of his church, Immaculate Heart of Mary, and an active member of the Knights of Columbus. He liked working on their small farm in Macomb and he greatly enjoyed keeping in touch with the military friends he made while serving in Vietnam. He also enjoyed working with wood, and riding horses and his UTV.

Besides his parents, Terry was preceded in death by a sister, Denise Kennedy.

He is survived by two daughters, Cari Kennedy of Midlothian, Illinois, and Lori Ann Duncan of Tomah, Wisconsin, two sons, Terry “Chad” Kennedy and Mathew Scott Kennedy, both of Tomah, Wisconsin, one step-son, Chad Cox of New Lisbon, Wisconsin, three step-daughters, Lori Crouch and her husband, Jerrad, Staci Cox and her fiancé, Earl Evans, and Phyllis Bunes all of Tomah, Wisconsin, four brothers, Jack Kennedy of Lake Mills, Wisconsin, John Kennedy of Tinley Park, Illinois, Kevin Kennedy of Shelbyville, Tennessee, and Jeffrey Kennedy of Tinley Park, Illinois, one sister, Patricia Kennedy Pelnarsh of Pontiac, Illinois, seven grandchildren, Gavin, Xavier, Raylynne, Megan, Miranda, Mallory, and Madeline, eleven step-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren and two on the way, and other friends and relatives who will greatly miss him.
