Susan Kay Reese

Susan Kay Reese, daughter of the late Robert and Alice Jean (Mordan) Vietz, was born on July 3, 1950 in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania and departed this life on July 17, 2009 in the Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri, at 59 years of age. At the time of her death she was surrounded by her loving family.
Susan grew up and attended school in Bloomsburg and was united in marriage to Hurley Reese. Four children were born to this union.
Susan had lived in the Norwood, Missouri area the past fifteen years.
She enjoyed taking care of her house plants, bird watching, reading and watching mysteries. She was a true homemaker who loved taking care of her family. She truly enjoyed the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her ex-husband: Hurley Reese of Norwood, Missouri; one son: Robert Reese and his wife, Erin, of Bolivar, Missouri; three daughters: Jennifer Reese of Springfield, Missouri, Amanda Hilton and her husband, Matthew, of Belton, Missouri and Christine Hawkins and her husband, Jason, of Republic, Missouri; one brother: Gerald Vietz of Mifflin Ville, Pennsylvania; one sister: Vicki Mingle and her husband, Dale, of Turbot Ville, Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her very much.
