Susan (Epple) Coffman

Susan Coffman, daughter of the late Paul and Vera (Dill) Epple, was born on February 28, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri, and passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2013 in the Springfield Rehabilitation Center in Springfield, Missouri, at 71 years of age.

Susan grew up in the St. Louis, Missouri area and attended Roosevelt High School. She was united in marriage and raised two children.

Susan was later united in marriage to Kenneth Coffman. They farmed together for many years north of Mtn. Grove. Kenneth passed away on May 21, 2009.

Susan enjoyed taking care of her home. She loved being outdoors, especially when tending to her flowers, fishing, and taking care of the farm and animals. She loved her cats very much and enjoyed spending time with them. She also liked to sew and crochet in her spare time.

Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter: Marlisa Schmitt on May 3, 2001.

She is survived by her son: Terrance Moore and his wife, Connie, of Hartville, Missouri; one sister: Carol Pratt and her husband, Gary, of St. Louis, Missouri; two grandchildren: Christopher Schmitt of Hartville, Missouri, and Daniel Schmitt of Ava, Missouri; other relatives and many friends who will miss her very much.
