Susan Barranco

April 5, 1946 — June 5, 2023

Susan Lorane (Teichmann) Barranco was born April 5th, 1946, to Gordon and Mary (Macy) Teichmannin, and departed this life June 5, 2023, at her home near Hartville, Missouri.

Susan spent many years working as a receptionist at Lemont High School in Lemont, Illinois, where her kindness and warmth touched the lives of countless students and staff.

Susan was united in marriage to Andrew Barranco on December 29, 2000, in DuPage County, Illinois. Shortly after their marriage, Andrew and Susan moved to Missouri, where they enjoyed their little piece of the Ozarks.

Susan loved spending time outside and riding ATVs. In her earlier years, she enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. Her love for her faithful bloodhound, Rudy, was unmatched, and the two were inseparable companions. Very seldom, if ever, did you ever hear Susan say anything bad about anyone.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Mary, and one daughter, Kelly.

She is survived by her loving husband, Andrew Barranco, one son, Brian Johnson, one daughter, Stacey Barnard and her husband, Scott, one brother, Geoff Teichmann and his wife, Debbie, and five grandchildren, Mary, Kyle, Cody, Elizabeth, and Alex who will miss her.

Susan believes that, the feeling of a bad situation will pass, and always hope for the best.
