Steven Lane Ruzic, son of James Vincent Ruzic and Wanda (Foster) Ruzic, was born October 5, 1959, in Roswell, New Mexico, and departed this life March 13, 2023, at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 63 years, 5 months, and 8 days.
On August 4, 1979, he was united in marriage to Terri Diane Warren and to this union three sons were born.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Logan Steven Ruzic.
Steven is survived by his wife, Terri; sons, Vince Ruzic of Neosho, Missouri, and Jason Ruzic of Seymour, Missouri; grandchildren, Kennedy Grace Ruzic and Cassious Kage Ruzic; sisters, Paula Hunt Bynum of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Linda Harder of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Sandra Bankey Schmidt of Santa Maria, California; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Steven was born in Roswell, New Mexico, where his father was stationed in the United States Air Force. He lived many different places during his dad’s tour of duty. He attended and graduated from Branson High School in the Class of 1978 and then received a Bachelor's Degree in Science from Southwest Missouri State University. After he managed a catfish farm, he was a pharmaceutical sales representative for thirty years. He was currently working for SeniorAge, delivering meals to Senior Centers.
In his younger years, he loved motorcycles and was in many dirt bike rodeos and wheely competitions. He was an expert hunter, avid fisherman, family adventure leader, and above all, a devout Christian.
Steven was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. We have many memories of the great times we had together that we will always cherish.
