Sharon “Sherry” Kay Hall, daughter of the late Normal and Zelma (Shores) Owens, was born February 16, 1952, in Springfield, Missouri, and passed away November 15, 2020, at Cox Health in Springfield, Missouri. She was 68 years, 8 months, and 30 days of age.
Sherry married Garry Hall July 8, 1967, in Macomb, Missouri. Three daughters were born to this union. Garry preceded her in death July 29, 2019.
Sherry was a shopper but her gift wrapping was always a Wal-Mart sack. She loved to travel, especially travelling the West. She loved all animals, but was extremely fond of horses. She greatly enjoyed going all over the country to horse camp. In fact, she might have lived at horse camp if given the opportunity. She loved the trail riding, but what she loved most of all were the friends who became like family. Her cabin in the woods was one of her favorite places to be. She was also late to everything. Her family would tell her an event started an hour early and she would still be thirty minutes late. This was called “Nini Time”.
Her family loved enjoying her famous chicken noodles every year for Christmas, as well as a plethora of Christmas candy. She adored her family and loved them fiercely. They always knew Nini was at sporting events to cheer on her grandkids because she did it with her own extra loud enthusiasm.
Sherry is survived by her daughters, Shelly Moore and her husband, Doug, of Springfield, Missouri, Wendy Davis and her husband, Johnny, of Norwood, Missouri, Amber Hall and Kylie LaBelle of Mountain Grove, Missouri, two brothers, Tommy Owens and his wife, Pam, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, and Rusty Owens and his wife, Margie, of Norwood, Missouri, one sister, Cindy Elliot and her husband, David, of Norwood, Missouri, eight grandchildren, Ashlyn Gagnon, Alex and Grace Moore, Coltan, Trevor, and Shelbie Reese, and Isabella and Gage January, one great-grandchild, Abel Gagnon, and other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her.
