Jeremiah-Ryan “Seth” Shover, son of Jacki Lynn Shover and Jared Seth Wheeler, was born March 17, 2005, in Springfield, Missouri, and passed away February 6, 2024, in Springfield, Missouri. He was 18 years, 10 months, and 20 days of age.
Seth graduated from Parkview High School in Springfield, Missouri, with the class of 2023. He was employed at Cavender’s PFI Western Store in Springfield at the time of his passing. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed riding horses and going fishing. He just loved the farm life. He was an animal lover, and his dog Maverick was special to him. Seth also enjoyed all kinds of music and loved to draw.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Tammy Emerick, Bill Houston, Hosie Maggard, Nancy Palmer, Bill Lewis, and Jim Shover; uncles, John Wheeler and Dale Bailey; and aunt, Lisa Emerick.
Seth is survived by his mother, Jacki Shover; father, Jared Wheeler; two brothers, Colby Gonzalez and Karli, and Wyatt Wheeler; three sisters, Paisley Shover, Mikayla Wheeler, and Rilee Wheeler; grandmother, Cindy Daugherty; grandfather, Lawrence Emerick, great-grandparents, Sue and Bill Fagan, and Bob Wheeler; eight uncles, Brady Bennett and Kelly, Grady Bennett and Brittany, Greg Houston and Kirsten, Randy Houston and Cindy, Terry Emerick and Trish, Larry Emerick, Ricky Emerick, and Michael Emerick; seven aunts, April Shover, Trista Lucas and Kevin, Tammy Blackburn and Ron, Amanda Frazier, Kathy Pierson, Stephanie Bailey, and Ashley Robinson; numerous cousins and other relatives and friends who will miss him very much.
In loving memory of Seth Shover, who brought joy and warmth to all who knew him. He had a heart of gold, always offering smiles and hugs to those he cherished. His love knew no bounds, and he leaves behind a legacy of kindness and affection. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love.
