Sandra Marlene Coffman

Sandra Marlene Coffman, daughter of the late Joe and Evelyn (Douda) McConaughey, was born September 6, 1937, in Davenport, Iowa, and departed this life December 13, 2017, at her residence in Mountain Grove, Missouri. She was 80 years, 3 months, and 8 days of age.

Sandra was raised in Davenport, Iowa. She met the love of her life, Dean Coffman, and was married before he went into the service in the mid 50’s.

Sandra worked at a bakery in Davenport, Iowa. She was also a salesperson for Avon for many years, winning many awards and trips for her high sales achievements. After retiring, Dean and Sandra moved to Texarkana before making their home in Mountain Grove, Missouri, close to the Coffman family. Sandra always called Carrie, her mother-in-law, every morning to check on her before starting out her day. She also loved going to the Casinos. She loved animals and especially loved her dog named Rowdy.

Besides her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by one brother, Joe McConaughey.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Dean Coffman, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, one son, Kevin Egans, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, seven sisters-in-law, Mable Tetrick, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Patsy Hamilton, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Dottie Perryman, of Raymondville, Missouri, Donna Carlson and husband, Sam, of Florida, Darlene Bradshaw and husband, Glen, of Norwood, Missouri, Joyce Coffman, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Joyce Ann Sheppard and husband, Danny, of Hartville, Missouri, one brother-in-law, Buck Coffman, and wife, Sharon, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and relatives who will sadly miss her.
