Sandra Jean Allmon, daughter of Dwain and Mary (Vanover) Allmon, was born July 26, 1969, Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond, Missouri, the youngest of three children, with a rare heart condition known as pseudo truncus arteriosus. The condition limited her ability to do strenuous activities such as sports or running. Her congenital heart condition worsened the first part of May, this year, and declined rapidly from there. She went to her new home in Heaven July 10, 2021, at Autumn Oaks Caring Center in Mountain Grove, Missouri. She was 51 years, 11 months, and 15 days of age.
Sandra graduated from Writer’s Digest correspondence school and stayed productive writing stories, making jewelry, watching the birds and wild animals in her back yard. She was also active in calling her friends from Florida to Texas to Nebraska. She also enjoyed playing board games with her mom and dad. Sandra was a loving and caring person who made friends easily. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
