Ryan Thomas Lakey, son of David Lakey and Michelle (Davis) Alexander, was born on May 18, 1992 in Covington, Louisiana, and departed this life on May 18, 2014 at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, Missouri. He was 22 years of age. Ryan lived in Franklinton, Louisiana until his family moved to Mountain Grove, Missouri when Ryan was in the 3rd grade. He attended Mtn. Grove Schools and graduated from Mtn. Grove High School in 2011. He enjoyed many different sports including basketball and track, but football was his greatest passion. He won the title, Iron Panther, his senior year. He was named to the SCA Conference 2nd Team and was also chosen to play in the State All Stars Football Game. He began his relationship with his soulmate, Jordyn Condray, in June of 2013. They were united in marriage in a beautiful outdoor setting on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014, by Rev. Wayne Cannon. Ryan was a loving husband, brother, son, and friend. He loved his family and friends very much. Above all, he loved God. His faith was deep and true. He always had a smile for everyone and he touched so many lives with his positive attitude and faith. He also had a love of music and enjoyed spending hours listening to it. He greatly valued time spent visiting with loved ones and friends. Ryan loved life, and will be missed by those who knew and loved him. Ryan was preceded in death by his grandmother: Nelda Barber. He is survived by his loving bride: Jordyn (Condray) Lakey; his parents: Douglass and Michelle Alexander of Mountain Grove; his step-father: Louis Pierre of Iron Mountain, Michigan; his father: David Lakey of Manhattan, New York; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: John and Judy Condray of Mountain Grove; his sister: Meagan Pierre; his step-brother: Blake Alexander: and his step-sister: Maddy Alexander all of Mountain Grove; his paternal grandfather: Leonard Lakey of the state of Arizona; his paternal grandmother: Virginia Talley of Bogalusa, Louisiana; his maternal grandfather: Michael Davis I of Robert, Louisiana; his paternal great-grandmother: Jean Johnson of Ajo, Arizona; Jordyns grandparents: Gene and Betty Hastings and Barbara Condray; and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who will miss him very much.


Visitation: Friday, May 23rd from 6:00 PM 8: PM
in the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Service: Saturday, May 24th at 10:00 AM in the Mtn. Grove High School Gym. Burial: Lone Star Cemetery Memorial Contributions: Ryan Lakey Memorial Fund to help family with expenses c/o the funeral home.
