Ruth Louise Glover

October 26, 1933 — July 5, 2016

Ruth Louise Glover, daughter of the late Clifford and Leona (Hocutt) Kinder, was born on October 26, 1933 in Wellington, Illinois and grew up in Hoopeston, Illinois.
Ruth was saved and baptized at a young age at the Nazarene Church in Hoopeston.
Ruth married Ralph Glover on December 8, 1950. Together they had five children: Terry, Barry, Jay, Jan, and Gail. She and Ralph moved to Elk Creek, Missouri in 1970. They joined the Elk Creek Baptist Church where she played the piano and taught Sunday School for many years. In 1996, they moved to Mountain Grove, Missouri where they joined the First Baptist Church.
She loved gathering around the piano and singing with family and friends. Her favorite past times were camping, fishing, crocheting, and playing volleyball and cards. She greatly enjoyed cooking and was a wonderful cook.
Ruth retired from Brown Shoe Company in Cabool, Missouri.
Besides her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her step-mother: Adeline Kinder; two sisters: Joyce Kinder and Judy Prior; and by a grandson: Clinton Lester Glover.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ralph Lester Glover of Mountain Grove; three sons: Terry Allen Glover and his wife, Julie, of Fowler, Indiana, Barry Lester Glover of Cabool, Missouri, and Jay Michael Glover and his wife, Kumcha of Richland, Missouri; two daughters: Janiece Leree Fugitt and her husband, Bruce, of Mountain Grove, and Gail Lynette Wright and her husband, Mark, of Ozark, Missouri; one sister: Bonnie Urich and her husband, Larry, of Hoopeston, Illinois; twelve grandchildren: Carrie Lincks, Derrick Glover, Cody Glover, Stella Barr, Kerick Gibbs, Bailey Glover, Adam Glover, Jennifer Harrison, Misty Clemons, Elizabeth Wright, and Daniel Wright; sixteen great-grandchildren; and many other friends, family, and church family.
Ruth is now in her spiritual body she was always striving for with her Heavenly Father. We love her so much and we will miss her terribly.
