Rosa Mae Ault, daughter of the late Anson Stevenson and Lillian (King) Pointer, was born on June 7, 1924, in Mountain Grove, Missouri and departed this life on August 10, 2015, in Golden, Missouri. She was 91 years, 2 months, and 3 days of age.
On April 11, 1944, she was united in marriage to Leonard (Shorty) Ault in Douglas County, Missouri. Five children were born to this union: Kenneth, Elmer, James, Sue Ann, and Ellen.
Rosa Mae was a lifelong Auxiliary member. She was a caretaker of a woman with polio for about 14 years. After that, Rosa Mae was the Mountain Grove Township Collector until 1995, retiring after approximately 17 years.
Besides her parents, Rosa Mae was preceded in death by her husband: Leonard Ault; and one son: Kenny Ault.
She is survived by two sons: Elmer Ault and his wife, Marie, of Millbrook, Alabama, and James Ault and Karen Craddock of Golden, Missouri; two daughters: Sue Ann Johnson and her husband, Ellery, of Florissant, Missouri, and Ellen Faye Elder and her husband, Jim, of Pilot Grove, Missouri; daughter-in-law: Letha (Durney) Ault of Nixa, Missouri: eleven grandchildren: Sarah and Ellery Johnson, Sonya (Elder) Twenter, Darren Elder, Wayne Ault, Rebecca (Ault) Bonds, Melissa (Ault) Jones, Amy (Ault) Ward, Tim Ault, Lindsay (Ault) Morris, and Emily Ault; twenty-eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild due in October; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends who will greatly miss her.
Visitation: Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Mountain Grove Pentecostal Lighthouse located on 9th Street.
Burial: Hillcrest Cemetery.
