Roberta Lenearl (Singleton) Bennett was born August 27, 1954, in Walla Walla, Washington, to Bob and Nonearl (Wilson) Singleton. She passed from this life and went to her home in heaven on January 8, 2024. She was 69 years old.
Roberta had two sons, Michael and Scott Cornelison. She met the joy of her life and married Larry Bennett on May 2, 1985. Roberta went to beauty school and worked with her sister-in-law, Diana, for a while, then opened her own salon. She later went to work at the Mansfield Steel Mill for 15 years, then later she worked at Walmart.
Roberta enjoyed many things in life and had many talents. Some of her favorite things include her sons, and spending time with her grandchildren and family. She always called her son, Scott, to sing Happy Birthday, which he always looked forward to. Roberta loved to sing and went to music parties and sang with her dad.
She had a love for dogs which led her to raise them and operate a dog kennel with her sister-in-law, Dorothy. In her younger years she showed horses. She enjoyed quilting and made many beautiful quilts. She also really enjoyed motorcycles, shopping, decorating and painting. She had many hobbies over the years and gave 100% of her energy to whatever she did.
She is survived by her husband, Larry of 40 years, sons, Mike Cornelison and wife, Leslie, Scott Cornelison and wife, Haley, brother, Leon Singleton and wife, Diana, grandchildren, Taylor Piles and husband, Jason, Chase Cornelison, Amber Cornelison, Whitney Cornelison and husband, Morgan, Dawson, Austin, Addie, and Jadie, sister-in-law, Linda McCall, nieces and nephews, Renee Riley and husband, Jeremiah, Robert Singleton, Dacie Dale and husband, Andrew, Arty Hultz, Jenny Watson and husband, Nick, Bud Aldridge, and Ethan Hicks, great-grandchildren, Jaxton Piles, Lucas, Phoenix, and Josie, great nieces and nephews, Reace Singleton, Jonathon Dale, Jack Dale, Emma Dale, Tristen Riley, Dakota Riley, Caden Riley, and Lilly Riley, stepsons, Rick Jolley and wife, Angie, and Randy Rhoades, step-grandson Steven Jolley, and step grand-daughter Stephanie Jolley, and many other relatives and friends.
Roberta will be greatly missed and is forever in our memories and hearts.
