Robert Stewart Spain

Robert Stewart Spain, son of Don Ducette and the late Cindy (Lawrence) Ducette, was born October 1, 1975, in Santa Cruz, California. He passed away March 20, 2025, at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri, at 49 years of age.

Robert grew up in Santa Cruz, California, and moved to Missouri in 2001. He was a master carpenter and loved working with metal and wood. He also liked having target practice shooting guns. In his younger years, he loved skateboarding and liked showing off his skills and maneuvers.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Cindy Ducette.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Debbie Owens of the home in Seymour; his father, Don Ducette of Bonanza, Oregon; two daughters, Jamie Gadberry and husband, Bill Jones, of Seymour, and Heather Helms of Seymour; two brothers, Keith Ducette and wife, Amanda, of Fernley, Nevada, and Brian Ducette of Warrensburg, Missouri; one sister, Desiree Sweet of Rochester, Minnesota; two grandchildren, Mylee Gadberry and Cheyenne Sawyers; and other relatives and friends who will miss him very much.
