Robert Edward Jaeger

November 3, 1942 — May 18, 2015

Robert was an amazing man. He was all about family, they meant the world to him. Whether it was immediate family or his church family, family was family in his eyes, and he loved them deeply.
Robert enjoyed spending time with his wife Patricia, of 48 years. They were best friends. He loved being with his sons and grandkids as much as possible. Robert was an amazing grandpa. His grandkids loved him deeply and looked up to him.
He enjoyed woodworking and boxing. He loved making his family and friends smile with his huge personality and fun, loving, spunky attitude. When Robert entered a room you couldnt help but smile because he was literally a ray of sunshine.
Robert was born in New York on November 3, 1942, and later moved to California, where he met and married his best friend Patricia, and started a family. They then moved to Oregon and watched their five sons grow into amazing young men. In 2003, they decided to move to Mountain Grove and proudly made this town their forever home.
Robert was a part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he and his family grew in the love of Christ. He loved his church and his church family.
Robert was called home to be with our heavenly father on May 18, 2015 and will be deeply missed by his friends, family, wife, kids, and grandbabies.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents: Robert Fredrick and Loraine (Gaerte) Jaeger.
Robert is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Jaeger of the home; five sons: Robert Fredrick Jaeger II, Edward Loring Jaeger and his wife, Antoinette, and their daughter Victoria Jaeger of Bowling Green, Missouri, Richard Von Jaeger of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Jonathon Jaeger of Mountain Grove, Missouri, Fredrick Joseph Jaeger and his wife, Jamie, and their four sons, Jayden, Gavin, Mason, and Fallon Jaeger of Mountain Grove, Missouri; two sisters: Elaine Ward of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Donna Guana of Texas; two brothers: Clyde Baker of California, and Jeffery Jaeger of Oregon; and an abundance of nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
