Robert Charles Resh, son of the late Robert Joseph and Agnes (Basore) Resh, was born on April 3, 1945 in Pasadena, California, and departed this life suddenly on February 20, 2008 at his residence in Mtn. Grove, Missouri. He was 62 years, 10 months, and 17 days of age.
Robert was raised in the Pasadena and Sierra Madre, California areas and graduated from Pasadena High School in 1963.
He was united in marriage to Jean Martin - Contreras on March 23, 1985. Following his retirement, they moved to the Mtn. Grove, Missouri area where he was living at the time of his passing.
Robert was employed as a heavy equipment operator for the California Transportation department for twenty years and retired in 2000.
Robert enjoyed being outdoors fishing and he also liked doing woodworking projects.
He is survived by his wife: Jean Resh of their home; his daughter: Jennifer Failla and her husband, John, of Forsyth, Missouri; his step-son: Michael Contreras of Altadena, California; his brother: Rick Resh of Mount Shasta, California; two sisters: Debbie Moser of Sierra Madre, California and Mandy Richardson of Glendora, California; three grandchildren: Zack, Taylor and Amanda; his former wife: Linda McKinney of Forsyth, Missouri; and a host of other relatives, friends, and neighbors who will miss him very much.
No services are planned at this time for Mr. Resh. Burial will be at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home, Mtn. Grove, Missouri.
