Robert “Bob” Ralph Mastromarino, son of the late Fred and Rose (Fucso) Mastromarino, was born May 28, 1952 in Boston, Massachusetts, and departed this life suddenly on April 4, 2013 at his residence in Mtn. Grove, Missouri, at 60 years of age.
Bob grew up and attended school and later college in East Boston, Massachusetts. He served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army, and was honorably discharged on September 28, 1972 as a SP4.
Bob was united in marriage to Joyce Sforza on April 18, 1980 in East Boston. One daughter was born to this union. Bob and Joyce owned and operated a small grocery store in Brandon, Vermont for a while. Bob became a truck driver in 1998 and he and Joyce decided to move and make Mtn. Grove, Missouri their home in 1999. In his later years, Bob owned another small business while he continued to be a truck driver.
He enjoyed writing books, watching football, especially the New England Patriots. He also liked working with his hands, doing carpentry projects and riding motorcycles.
Bob was a member of the American Legion and the Masonic Lodge.
He was a kind and caring person, husband, father, brother, uncle, neighbor and friend. He will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Besides his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother: John.
He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-three years: Joyce Mastromarino of their home; his daughter: Barbara Mastromarino of Stillwater, Oklahoma; his brother: Joe Mastromarino of New Hampshire; two sisters: Elaine Clements of Goose Creek, South Carolina and Caroline Mastromarino; and other relatives and friends.
