Robert Eugene Arnett, Bob, was born on May 2, 1945, in St. Louis, Missouri, and went home to be with the Lord on October 6, 2015, after a long illness in the nursing home.
Bob was raised in both the Farmington, Missouri and St. Louis, Missouri areas, and graduated from Roosevelt High School in St. Louis. Following high school, he served honorably in the United States Marine Corp. His other occupations included over-the-road truck driving for many years.
Bob loved art of many kinds including painting and black velvet art. He enjoyed various other art projects including spinners that he would make. He also had a love for music.
Bob always liked to tease people and make them laugh. He was a happy-go-lucky guy!
Bob was preceded in death by his father: Melvin Cox, his mother: Frances E. Sue, and his adopted mother: Ruth Arnett.
He is survived by his daughter: Tinker Ellis of St. Louis, Missouri; his four sons: Bill Arnett of Farmington, Missouri, Tim Arnett of Farmington, Missouri, Tony Arnett of St. Louis, Missouri, and Richard Arnett of St. Louis, Missouri; his sister: Rosemary Gibson and her husband, Ted, of Mountain Grove, Missouri; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one nephew: Scott Gibson of Mountain Grove, Missouri, and two nieces: Tammy Humble of Luana, Iowa, and Kim Bruton of Marshfield, Missouri.
