R.J. "Jay" Flynn, Jr..

R.J. "Jay" Flynn, Jr. was born on November 7, 1959, and passed away on June 7, 2022, at his home near Mansfield, Missouri. He was born and raised in Mansfield, Missouri, and graduated from Mansfield High School with the class of 1978. Jay worked many years for Hutchens Industries, starting his employment there in 1978.

Jay was saved and baptized at an early age and was a member of Mansfield First Baptist Church. He was very active in church in many different areas, and he had also served on several mission trips.

He was preceded in death by his dad, R.J. Flynn, Sr., and his step-dad, Anvis Edwards.

Jay is survived by his mother, MaryBelle Edwards of Mansfield, Missouri, his son, Jeremy Flynn of Springfield, Missouri, his daughter, Mandy Dye and spouse, Zoe, of Portland, Oregon, his sisters, Hazel Stuart and spouse, Mike, of Mansfield, Missouri, Janice Bliss of Nevada, Missouri, Janie Mincks of Bolivar, Missouri, Joy Wingender and spouse, Rick, of Springfield, Missouri, and Jodi Edwards of Springfield, Missouri, several nieces and nephews, as well as many other relatives and friends who will miss him.

Jay was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. We have many special memories that we will always cherish and hold dear.
