Rick Adamson

Rick Adamson, son of Jerry Adamson and Carol Dean Detherage, was born April 7, 1960, in Springfield, Missouri, and departed this life October 20, 2023, at his home north of Mansfield, Missouri, at the age of 63 years, 6 months, and 13 days.

He was united in marriage to Julie VanEaton on June 5, 2010. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol, and a sister, Jill Adamson.

Rick is survived by his wife, Julie; son, Haden Adamson of Mansfield; daughter, Jenni Lemons and grandson, Kacen Lemons, both of Midland, Texas; parents, Jerry and Josie Adamson; brother, Randy Adamson and wife, Tresa, all of Mansfield; mother-in-law, Wanda VanEaton; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.

Rick was born in Springfield, but lived his entire life in the Mansfield area. He graduated from Mansfield High School in the Class of 1978. He was a guide on area lakes for Bass Pro Shop and was a longtime log hauling truck driver.

In his spare time, he loved fishing, hunting, everything about farming, and his cows.

Rick was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and a caring neighbor and friend to many people. We have many great memories that we will always cherish.
