Rex Moore

Rex Allen Moore, son of the late Eugene and Dorothy Moore, was born July 9, 1964, in Hartville, Missouri, and passed away September 29, 2021, at his home outside of Lebanon, Missouri, at 57 years of age.

Rex was united in marriage to Edith Matney on October 14, 1983, and two children were born to this union, Jeffrey and Amber. He was later united in marriage to Shirley Beggs on August 16, 1996, and two children were born to this union, Tabetha and Rex Jr.

Most of Rex's career was spent logging for many different sawmills. He loved working out in the timber. Over the last four years, he worked for Tracker Marine. Rex's hobbies include gardening, fishing, and working on any kind of motor. Most of all, he loved spending quality time with his grandchildren.

Rex was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Dorothy Moore, one sister, Betty Moore, one step-son, Coby Cutbirth, and one grandson, Bryson Cole Coffman.

He is survived by four children, Jeffery Moore of Thornfield, Missouri, Amber Collins of Seymour, Missouri, Tabetha Moore of Mountain Grove, Missouri, and Rex Allen Moore, Jr. of Edna, Texas, five brothers, Danny Moore and his wife, Barbara, of Edwards, Missouri, Hubert Moore of Van Buren, Missouri, Leslie Moore and his wife, Gayla, of Lebanon, Missouri, Harvey Moore of Hartville, Missouri, and Rodney Moore of Moberly, Missouri, four sisters, Brenda Moore of Kansas City, Kansas, Kathy Kohenskey of Lebanon, Missouri, Sharon Coffman and her husband, Larry “Buck”, of Hartville, Missouri, and Teresa Woolman of Hartville, Missouri, nine grandchildren, Madison Owens, Aiden Owens, Gracie Owens, Emily Joanna Coffman, Patricia Moore, Trinity Strunk, Hunter Moore, Emily Lou Moore, and Whitney Moore, a special friend, Shirley Moore, and many nieces and nephews who will miss him.
