Raymond Warren Nederman, age 80, of Valparaiso, formerly of Portage and Lake Station, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2013. He was born on May 23, 1932 to Barney and Verda (Smith) Nederman.
Raymond grew up on a farm near Mtn. Grove, Missouri. He loved animals and easily formed bonds with his pets. He served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged.
Raymond was a longtime business owner of Nederman’s Glass and Trim in Lake Station, Indiana for over thirty years. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia; and by two daughters: Mary Ray Nederman and Cheryl Taylor.
He is survived by two sons: David Nederman of La Porte, Indiana, and Donald Nederman of Houston, Texas; two daughters: Connie Nederman of Crown Pont, Indiana, and Kathy Nederman of Dallas, Texas; Two step-sons: Johnny and Karen Hansen of Hobart, Indiana, and Mark and Krissy Hansen of Valparaiso, Indiana; two brothers: Dale and Norma Bridgeford and Harrison and Sally Warren; thirteen grandchildren; all of whom will miss him dearly, and will remember him, for his fun-loving attitude.
His family rejoices knowing he now abides with our Lord Jesus Christ.

on January 5, 2013 in the Rees
Funeral Home in Winfield, Indiana.
Local arrangements and burial
will be under the direction of the
Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home,
Mtn. Grove, Missouri.
Mr. Nederman was cremated.
Burial: Denlow Cemetery.
