Randy Keith Pirtle

Randall Keith “Randy” Pirtle, son of Doyle and Thelma Templeton Pirtle, was born October 17, 1949, in Springfield, Missouri, and departed this life on May 4, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 72 years, 6 months, and 17 days.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Randy is survived by a daughter, Jill Gavin and husband, Dennis, of Seymour, Missouri; son, Wayland Pirtle and wife, Janine, of Billings, Missouri; grandchildren, Justin Pirtle, James Pirtle, Laura Neal, Amber McIntosh, and Austin Gavin; fourteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Deanna Wright of Springfield, Missouri, and Karen Warren of Hoxie, Arkansas; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

He was born in Springfield but lived most of his life in Seymour. He graduated from Seymour High School in the Class of 1967 and was a carpenter.

Randy made a profession of faith in Christ many years ago. He was currently attending Cold Creek Cowboy Church south of Mansfield.

In his spare time, he loved to garden, hunt, fish, and go to Rusty Spurs to drink coffee with his friends.

Randy was a loving dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, brother, uncle, and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and have many fond memories that we will always cherish.
