Ralph Allen Marliere Sr.

Ralph Allen Marliere, Sr., son of the late Fredrick and Delma (Brent) Marliere, was born on July 30, 1941 in Peoria, Illinois, and departed this life on May 9, 2015 in Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri at 73 years, 9 months, and 9 days of age.
Ralph married Stella Baggs on February 14, 1971 in Viola, Illinois. Together they raised seven children.
Ralph greatly enjoyed spending time with his family. He spent many years working as a Millwright for Caterpillar. He was also an ordained minister.
Some of Ralphs hobbies included: fishing, camping, wood working, doing crossword puzzles and using the computer. He was also an avid Team Respect Fitness member. He loved spending time caring for the needs of his pets and enjoying their company.
Ralph is preceded in death by his father: Fredrick Marliere; his mother and step-father: Delma and Harold Marlyere; one step-brother: Steve Marlyere; and one grandchild: Jami Marliere.
He is survived by his loving wife of their home: Stella Marliere; three sons: Michael Marliere and his wife, Margo, of Peoria Heights, Illinois, Ralph A. Marliere, Jr. and his wife, LuAnn, of Peoria, Illinois; Michael Lancaster II and his wife, Ann, of Chillicothe, Illinois; four daughters: Dawn Marliere-Jones and her husband, J.B., of Peoria, Illinois, Melanie Hibbard and her husband, Garry, of Oak Harbor, Washington, Danielle Elsner and her husband, Jim, and Elizabeth Leighty and her husband, Derek, all of Mountain Grove, Missouri; one brother: Theodore Marliere of Peoria Heights, Illinois; one sister: Helen Hoover of Mountain Grove, Missouri; one step-brother: Nick Marlyere of Chillicothe, Illinois; one step-sister: Judy Carlson of Maple Grove, Minnesota; twenty grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends who will miss him dearly.


Visitation: Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM in the Chapel.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel.

Burial: Lone Star Cemetery, Mtn. Grove.
