R. 'Joe' Broyles

Ruby Joe Broyles, son of the late Freddie K. and Elizabeth (Long) Broyles, was born on August 1, 1943 in Rayborn, Missouri and departed this life on April 26, 2011 in the St. John’s Regional Health Center in Springfield, Missouri. He was 67 years, 8 months and 25 days of age.
Joe grew up and attended school in Wright County. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially when fishing, hunting and tending to his garden each year. He also liked to talk on his C.B. radio and he enjoyed playing pool.
Joe loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with them and visiting with his friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son: Ruby Joe Broyles, Jr.; and by one brother: Bobby Edward Broyles.
He is survived by two sons: Scotty Lee Broyles of Rolla, Missouri and Darrel Wayne Broyles of Willow Springs, Missouri; two daughters: Sarah Marie Andrus and her husband, John of Kansas City, Missouri, and Crystal Kay Carson and her husband, Scotty, of Cabool, Missouri; two brothers: Richard Leon Broyles of Cabool, Missouri and Amos Howard Broyles of the State of California; two sisters: Alice Mae Crocker of Buffalo, Missouri, and Mary Elizabeth Mainues of Skyline, Missouri; two step-sisters: Dorethea Jean Jacobson of Buffalo, Missouri and Marie Palkowitsh of Wichita, Kansas; five grandchildren: Samantha Gene Carson, Jacob Isaac Andrus, Chasity Marie Andrus, James Louis Andrus, II, and Grace Elizabeth Andrus; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Visitation:
No Formal – Friends may call from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Wednesday in the funeral home.
