Peggy Marie Walker

Peggy Marie (Tuders) Walker was born May 23, 1967, to Catherine (Stephenson) Riley and David Tuders in Wichita, Kansas, and left this life on October 17, 2024, in Springfield, Missouri.

The love and devotion Peggy had for her family was remarkable and unlike any other, her passion was doing for her children and making as many wonderful moments as she could by making cookies, treats, crafts, watching movies, playing games or just being there for them. She especially loved holidays and would always go out of her way to make it a memorable and enjoyable day for everyone.

Peggy was more than just a mother, wife, and good friend, she was a strong woman of God who touched countless people and was always selfless, giving to others before herself. She had one of the biggest hearts and most genuine souls loving everyone she met, it didn't matter who you were, where you came from, or what you've done in life, if someone needed anything she was always right there to help and would always have a plate at the table and warm bed to rest your head. This included taking in children who were in need, giving them a home when they didn't have one, and raising them as if they were her own, she never liked seeing anyone go without. 

Peggy’s overwhelming love for God was what made her the amazing woman she was. She experienced overwhelming joy and happiness by sharing the Word of God with everyone she met. Never in her lifetime did she not have Faith or fall from Him, something in which she passed on to her children and grandchildren.

Forever she will remain an example of how to love and be a beacon of light to others. There will definitely never be another person like her and her absence has left a permanent scar on all our hearts.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Anthony Walker; and nine children, Erica (Mason) Bowman, Matthew Mason, Denver Mason, Seth Mason, Hailey Mason, Arianna Mason, Dusty Walker, Antonia Walker, and Eva Tuders.
