Pauline “Polly” Molloy was received into the arms of Jesus on March 13, 2022. She was born to Otis and Helen (Vastbinder) Seratt on October 4, 1929, in Manila, Arkansas. She married Sterling “Jake” Molloy on October 10, 1955, in Higginsville, Missouri.
Polly grew up in churches all over the United States since her father was a preacher. Once she met and married Jake, they moved to California where she worked as a waitress for many years. Serving people was a passion of hers, and in 1979 they moved to Mountain Grove, Missouri, and opened up Polly’s Cafe. They ran the cafe until November 1987. They then moved to Branson, Missouri, where they lived until Jake passed away in 2009. She loved all her friends that she met and served while she had the café, and she moved back to Mountain Grove after his passing. She continued to waitress until she was 87 years old! Polly always had a good joke or story to tell, and she received great joy telling them each and every time!
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother.
Polly is survived by one son, two daughters, one brother, and one sister. She was also blessed with many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins galore, and a multitude of great friends.
