Pauline Holt, daughter of the late Isca Larner and Lindy Bell (Eden) Owens, was born on November 4, 1944 in Mtn. Grove, Missouri and departed this life on December 27, 2009 in the Kabul Nursing Home in Cabool, Missouri at 65 years of age.
Pauline grew up and attended school in the Mtn. Grove area. She was united in marriage to William Thomas Holt on April 10, 1960 in Mtn. Grove. Five children were born to this union.
Pauline enjoyed being outdoors, especially when camping with her family. She also liked to do crossword puzzles and handheld games.
She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.
She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Pauline was employed by Brown Shoe Company and Fordick Corp. for several years. She was also a waitress at D’s Midwest Truck Stop for a while.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: William Thomas Holt; a daughter: Melissa Ann Holt; and by a grandson: Tom Sawyer Holt.
She is survived by her son: Mark Holt and Patricia Rhodes; three daughters: Patricia Holt of Manes, Missouri, Cindy Dodds and her husband, Steven, of Mtn. Grove, Velma Holt of Manes, Missouri; a granddaughter that she raised: Amber Dawn Holt of Mtn. Grove; two sisters: Betty Jean Bench of Lebanon, Missouri and Wilma Jean Hiebert of Savannah, Tennessee; fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 2:00 pm in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel.
Visitation:
Wednesday, December 30, 2009 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm in the chapel.
