Paul Ray Tyrell passed away on January 18, 2016, at Autumn Oaks Caring Center in Mountain Grove, Missouri, after an extended illness.
Paul was born on July 30, 1936, on a small farm outside of Mountain Grove, to the late Albert and Zula (Ellis) Tyrrell. He attended a small country school. From a very young age, his passion was cars and trucks. After working various jobs in the area, he eventually opened a car and truck sales business in Norwood. In 1969, Paul moved his family to Council Bluffs, Iowa. After a few years, he started South Omaha Trucks, which he owned until he moved back to Mountain Grove in his later years.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; two infant twin sisters; brother: Alvin Junior Tyrrell and his wife, Evelyn; and nephew: Gary Tyrrell and his wife, Jan.
He is survived by his children: Jerry Ray Tyrrell (Andy Nelson), Charlotte Sue Harm (Bill), all of Omaha, Nebraska, Deborah Jean St. Clair (Patrick) of Locust Grove, Georgia, Susan Elaine Jones of Council Bluffs, Iowa; five grandchildren; and two nephews.
