Patsy Sprague

Patsy Lea Sprague, daughter of the late Eugene and Erma Jean (Freeman) Dry, was born February 6, 1948 at Sanger, California, and passed from this life on June 28, 2023 at her home in Mountain Grove, Missouri. She was 75 years, 4 months, and 22 days of age.

Patsy moved with her parents to Missouri at a young age. She grew up in the Evans Community. She was united in marriage to Thomas Sprague, Sr. on July 3, 1964. Two children were born to this union.

Patsy worked for many years at the Brown Shoe Company until their closing. She spent her remaining years as a homemaker and as a gardener. She greatly enjoyed being with her family, and she dearly loved her faithful dog. She and Tom were seldom apart, and it was rare to see one without the other.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Sprague, Jr.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas Sprague, Sr., of their home; her daughter, Amanda “Amy” Kelley and her husband, Mike, of Mountain Grove; one sister, Jeannie Elliott of Hartville, Missouri; three grandchildren, Tyler Jones, and his wife Gina, of Norwood, Missouri; Dusty Jones, and his wife Kali, of Mountain Grove; Macey Johnson, and her husband Brett, of Salt Lake City, Utah; three great-grandchildren, Layton Jones, Trace Jones, and Haven Johnson; numerous nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends who will miss her very much.
