Patricia Sue Halliburton, daughter of the late Webster and Ermydine (Horn) Johnson, was born April 29, 1944, in St. Louis, Missouri, and departed this life February 27, 2020, in Springfield, Missouri. She was 75 years, 9 months, and 29 days of age.
Pat grew up in Winfield, Missouri, and graduated from Winfield High School in 1962. She married Carl W. Davis in October of 1963. One child, Cindy Sue Davis, was born to this union. Pat and Carl later divorced. She married Richard E. Halliburton on May 22, 1982, and gained two sons and two daughters.
Pat worked for Gossard Garment Factory in Troy, Missouri, for a short time before beginning an 18 year career with Troy Motors, also in Troy. Then she and Richard opened a Curtis Mathis franchise in Jonesboro, Arkansas. They worked the business together from 1985 until 1992. Then she went to work for a short time at People’s Bank in O’Fallon, Missouri, before they moved to Iowa where she began working for Washington State Bank. She then went to work for an auto agency, Perdock, Inc., in Washington, Iowa, for around ten years, until the business sold. She returned to Washington State Bank until she retired in 2009.
Pat and Richard moved to Springfield, Missouri, where they enjoyed their retirement. She loved to play golf, having learned from her father when she was a young girl. Her father also taught her about baseball, which became a lifelong passion. She enjoyed playing sports as well as watching them and was a huge Cardinals baseball fan as well as a Chiefs and Packers football fan. She and Richard also enjoyed fishing together and they loved getting together with family.
Besides her parents, Pat was preceded in death by one son, Richard “Kent” Halliburton.
She is survived by three daughters, Cindy Hinckley of Washington, Iowa, Kris Halliburton and Shawn Padgett of Marshfield, Missouri, and Kara Halliburton of Springfield, Missouri, one son, Kery Spinabella of Ozark, Missouri, one brother, Gary Johnson and his wife, Judy, of Winfield, Missouri, thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her.
